ball pythons together

Question
I two ball pythons. One is twice as big as the other, is it okay if they are near
each other. I don't want the smaller one to get hurt.

Answer
Hi Lauren

its best not to keep the two pythons in the same tank as one another.

they will not necessarily injure one another but more, the larger snake will stress the other snake out and may put it off feeding.

if you can, keep them separate, but if not: provide enough hiding spots for both snakes 1 or 2 hide boxes each and keep a close eye on the smaller snake. make sure that the larger ball python doesn't 'bully' the smaller and make sure that the smaller snake continues to feed regularly.

if the smaller ball python stops eating you may have to separate them into two separate tanks.

i hope this helps.
