Question
Hi thanks for replying the other day...all the four corns my boss got have eatten yesterday as well so i'm very happy with that...and I had gotten a male baby anery a few days ago and he ate yesterday as well not a problem so thats good as well. I was wondering if corns Must be cooled to breed or not?(the 3 year old pair my boss has) Would they not breed if we left them the same temp all year and put them together in the early summer?

and one more thing how often do corns shed? my female snow who is 3 months old is ehdding for the first time with me...she has had a few strips come off well but its coming off kind of patchy in places I mist her every few days since she is shedding but normaly only mist her tank once every 7/10 three/four sprays a time I was told to spray every now and then is good for them thou she does have a water dish as well. And should I get the boss to get a scale for his snakes to monitor weight? also if I would give the 1 year olds two hoppers or a fuzzy anda  hopper...would they eat two or no? they had each a fuzzy last night which seemed a bit too small. Also One of the adults had truble with an adult mouse...(f/t) she had to rearange it several times before she could start to swollow it she is a big snake 3 1/2 to 4 feet easy(will measure all next week) but maybe two hoppers would be better? Thank you very much for your help.

Answer
Technically corns do not have to be cooled to breed, but I still would cool them anyways.

How often they shed depends on how much they are being fed. They shed when they have outgrown their skin. For food, the meal should make a small but noticeable bulge in the snake for about 24-48 hours. That's the best way to tell. I can't really say if a hopper or two is enough without seeing the snake.
