Corn Snake keeps regurgitating food

Question
I just recently got a corn snake about 2 weeks ago. I got it from a pet store not a breeder. They were feeding it frozen/thawed pinky mice every Thursday. I got it on a Saturday and about a couple days later it regurgitated her food. i was sorta freaked out so i called the pet store and i looked up stuff online and i found out that it could have done it because of the stress of getting used to a new environment. I feed it again on Thursday and it seemed to eat it fine. well i just switched the tanks again to a bigger one and when i got up the next morning i found that it had regurgitated its food again.

My question is, could be because of stress of switching tanks and her not being used to me or the tank yet or could it be something else. I'm not sure what to do here. anything will help! Thanks!!

Answer
Simply switching a tank should not cause regurgitation.  My guess is your new snake has an infection of some sort.  The fact that there was anything left to puke up 4-5 days after eating is what leads me to think this way (should have been digested by then).  A fecal float test should confirm this.

If the snake is young, this is an emergency situation as they can dehydrate VERY quickly.  I would document the problem again with the pet store and ask them if they have a vet they would like you to use.  Most likely the problem was there when you bought the animal.
