QuestionHi. I have a 9-month-old male corn snake and i was thinking of getting another snake. I don't want another corn snake. Do you hav any suggestions for a second snake?
Thanks!
AnswerThe first question you should ask yourself is how big of a snake do you want. If you just want something about the same size as a corn then a kingsnake or milksnake would be a good choice. If you want something longer/thicker, you might look into a boa or ball python. All of these are pretty easy beginner snakes. Personally I'd recommend a kingsnake, such as a mountain king, as they are very docile.
