constipated snake

My red tail boa hasn't shit in 3 weeks and i don't know what to do.  I've been giving him water baths for 2 weeks with no results.  What else can i do?

Dave, kids read this stuff-watch the language please.  Has he been eating all 3 of those weeks?  Is he due for a shed?  Snakes will often "save up" thier excretory movements until right before a shed.  It helps them stretch the old skin before shedding it.
