snake hello there! I have had a snake living in my shed for about a month now and I am trying to figure out what kid of snake it is. I live in michigan and I am thinking its a garter snake? not sure if I spelled that right. I could only get this picture of it before it slithered away.

Thanks for your question. You are correct, its just a garter snake. I cannot tell from the picture exactly but it looks to be either an eastern garter snake or a common garter snake. Its great to have it in your shed because it will eat anything from insects to mice. Thanks again.
