Question
QUESTION: I have a red tail boa about 10 months or so old and i have had him for about two months now and he has not went to the bathroom yet. for the past week i have been  giving him warm baths almost every day and fed him last Sunday where he had no problem taking it at all he was very interested in getting some food so there is no appetite lose. also he is still very alert and cage conditions are optimal. there is a little swelling at the end of the tail but nothing that looks really shocking. could he just not have went yet? i brought him to the vet and they gave him 2cc of this lubrication stuff to help things move about 5 days ago and still nothing. what should i do?
ANSWER: Hi Ian.  Be patient and give him another week to see if anything happens.  Also...be sure to call the Vet you took him to and let them know the same thing.  Ask them if there is a waiting period after using the lubrication.  Otherwise...everything you are doing and providing your snake is perfect. Good luck!

QUESTION: oh and i talked to the vet and they said that the lubrication would take about 4 days to take effect i am on the 6 day, the first feeding he took in a little piece of bedding if that created a blockage what should my next actions be

Answer
I am sorry  you feel I didn't give you the answer you were looking for.  But it is quite obvious your snake has constipation and obviously the little piece of bedding can agravate that condition. There is no action YOU can take without HURTING your snake.  That is why you need to take it back to the VET.
