Strange Snake Questions

My Eastern Kingsnake keeps showing what I believe to be his hemi-penis when I hold him.  I have only had him about a week now, and he has done it twice.  Is this normal?  I do not squeeze him at all while handling, and cannot see a reason why he would be doing this.  Unfortunately, I do not know his exact age.
I was also wondering what I should do about him feeding.  He currently eats three pinkies every five days, but he still appears to be hungry and searches his tank for a while looking for more.  He is 18" long, and I had heard that hatchlings eat 1 to 2 pinkies once a week.  I was not sure if I am feeding him too little, but I also do not want to overfeed him either.  Thanks for your help!

Hi there, i think it sounds like time he went onto the next size which is fuzzies, once hes on them he will start to grow more as they contain lots more calcium. As long as the fuzzie isnt way too big for him then its ok, it should leave a noticable buldge in his belly.As for the hemi penis, just keep an eye on that to make sure it keeps happening, good luck
