Advice on my baby snow corn

Hi this is first time asking about corn snakes but i have a new baby snow corn snake and his name is jason but i was handling him one day and i accidentally tipped his tank over and i thought that he ran so i tryed to look for him and i found him his tail under my foot so i picked him up and put him back in the tank .... the question im asking is that after what happend everytime i go to handke him he seems to tense really badley so i just want to know if that is ok or should i do something ?

If I got stepped on I would be tense too!

Gaining back that trust in which he will relax when you handle him will take awhile. You scared him pretty badly. It's going to take probably a month or so before he will readily calm down with you handling him. Just handle him for about 10-20 mins every day with no loud noises and he should get better.
