lighting for my snake

I have 2 lights one for day time and one for nite.....and I'm wundering if there is any time for me to shut the light off I have a 15 inch red tale boa (columbian) and the tempeture is always 85-90.....and why can I not handle my snake after she eats?

The lights you have for day and night are fine. Also the temperature is good. But you actually don't need a light to be on at nighttime. It is entirely up to you.  
You should not handle your snake after she eats because there is a high chance they will regurgitate their food.  Wait at least 3 days before handling.
