Compatibility of snakes

Question
Hi, Is it wise/safe to have two species of snakes in the same cage? In particular, a rosy boa and a sand boa. Any thoughts on which of the two would be an better pet, if not compatible?

Answer
Hi Jody,
Housing different snakes together is always risky. Snakes are generally solitary creatures. It can and has been done, but you run the risk of one killing the other. If you do decide to give it a shot, make sure you separate them during feeding.
