Kingsnake not eating

Question
I have a 2 and a half year old kingsnake that I got about a year ago. Up until about a month ago he has been feeding fine. Also about a month ago I got him a larger cage (55 gallon).  He mostly hides during the day and comes out at night..In his smaller cage he was out more during the day. He hasn't eaten since I got this new cage and I am wondering if it's stress or possibly something in the cage is making him sick...the cage was previously used as an aquarium, although I did clean it well with reptile supply cleaning stuff.  The temperature in his cage is at the proper temp and I have only added one new piece of wood to the cage.

Answer
Hi Amanda,
It is probably one of two things, stress from the move or simply because it is winter. Now, my Cali King eats year round, no problem. Try mixing it up a little. IF you usually feed mice, feed rats. Maybe try a quail or a chick if you can find some small enough. Otherwise, as long has he has water, he should be fine for another month without eating.
