My Royal Python.

I literally just fed my Royal Python, but she now has a small piece of bark half in, half out of her mouth. I dont really want to disturb her in case of regurgitation. What do you suggest ?

Hi Alisha,

Pull it out. I hope you are not using cedar. The best substrate is aspen bedding. This type of bedding will not usually cause any problems when swallowed.

I might also suggest you feed in another tank or tub. This will help ensure this will not happen again and can also help keep you hands from being bit because of your snake mistakenly taking it for prey.
