snake wont eat..

my 6mth old snake has'nt  eaten for at least 8weeks is this normal ?up until then it was eating two thawed mice a week..today i noticed two black marks at the tail then they disappeared later in the evening,it has'nt shed its skin eitherin the last 3months or so..

   2 months is getting into the danger area. What kind of snake is it. How big is it? Try feeding live as a last resort. Raise the temp and humidity. If you do feed live, keep an eye on the snake when the rat is in the feeding enclosure. A rat can do some serious damage to an uninterested snake.
