i found him in radiator( was off) and he had center of his eye pushed in, thin white skin around eye pushed out a little, what should i do? will it come back normal after shedding? Thank you

Answer
Hi Denis,
I can't really evaluate him without a picture. You can email one to me at lasher9@gmail.com. If you have a good exotic vet, take him ASAP. On the other hand, if he has damaged his eye, there is not a lot a vet can do. If he seems fine otherwise, I would just wait and see what happens. If he has lost his sight in that eye, he will still be okay. Years ago, I made a rookie mistake and tried to help my Brazilian Rainbow Boa shed an eyecap by pulling it off. My ignorance caused him to go completely blind in that eye. Lucky for me, he still has one good eye and is otherwise healthy and happy. Keep a close watch on it, but leave it as is (don't mess with the skin). If anything changes and it seems to get infected or become any kind of sore, take him to a vet. Note that I am not a vet, but have many years of experience. I will be up for another 30 minutes or so id you'd like to email a picture.
