snakes sex

i want to know the sex of my snake but i don't want to go have it tested. is their anyway to tell with just lookin at it. well call it a girl && named her chloe. so i will fell really bad if its a boy.

It depends on what type of snake it is. For example, some corn snakes and king/milk snakes can sometimes be sexed visually by looking at how their tails taper. However, the only sure way is to have the snake probed. A vet can do this for you the next time that you take it in for a checkup. Or, if there is a reptile show in your area, you can take your snake their and one of the vendors can probably probe it for you.
