My son found his snake dead it had a swollen throat and fliud coming out of his mouth what could have caused it to die like this.Thank you Carol

Hello Carol,

Sorry to hear about your sons snake.

What kind of substrate is in the tank? If carpet thebit could have caught itself on the carpet with its teeth and whipped itself around and broke its neck. Another cause could be an ifection in its neck caused by mites.

Not for sure. If you have not burried it yet check it over for mites.
