boas and ball python

i would like to know if i purchased a young CBB Colombian Red Tail Boa could i put it in with my 7 months old ball python?

Hello Bill,

I wouldn't recommend putting them in the same cage because, they're both different species of snakes and do grow in different sizes.

Plus they both have different climate and temperature control.

If you do choose to have them both in a cage, first have the Red Tail Boa in a different cage for about 4-6 months to see if it has any parasites or diseases.  That way it won't spread to your ball python.
