female ball python making noises

Question
I have an eight years old ball python and she has starting to make a noise like a party favor. It is not like a cough or a sneeze. Does she have a cold and do we need to get her to a vet or do they have a mating call? Oh, she has started to move her shavings to the opposite side of her cage to make a bald spot like some do when they are in mating mode. PLEASE help me!!!

Ball Pythons don't make mating calls.
It sounds to me like she has a resperatory problem. You should check the temps and humidity in the tank. Getting these correct should help with the problem. If you find this does not help after a couple weeks you may want to consider bringing her to the vet.
