banded water snakes

hello i wanted to know what do you think of banded water snakes as pets. are they easily handled or do they bite a lot? also are they easily housed

Hello Jay,

They are similar to a corn snake. Instead of going with the banded watersnake why not a corn snake or even a milk snake. They are just a pretty, but do not require you to have a part land and part water habitat.

As with any snake the more you hold it the more it gets used to you handling it. They get desensitized to your touch.
