redtail boas heating

Question
I'm getting a redtailed boa, but because my mahh doesn't like them, we have to keep it in the garage. I've already looked up how warm it was to be for it to be healthy, and the only problem is the winter.
It can easily be warmed up to about 50 F but i was wondering what to use to keep him at the specific tempature needed. Like heating pads, or lamps. Or both. What should i use to keep him real warm for during the days and nights in the wintertime?

Answer
This is not a problem I have as I live in FL.  You may have to use both pads and lamps to get it done.  You could also wrap the tank.  Perhaps the best thing to do is to get "mahh" holding the snake and caring about what happens to it.  If you haven't purchased already I do have a very nice baby Central American boa baby available.  $50 plus shipping.  Email me bnr.com@prodigy.net if you're interested.
