QuestionI have a year and a half female ball python. Just today she was laying in her cage and she opened her mouth and made a sound that i have never heard her make. It kinda sounded like a burp or something close to that. what does that mean. We are going to try and breed her with the male python that we have. Could it be a cold? Or something else?I dont know what it is? Is it something serious? I am a little worried. I hope she is ok.
AnswerHi Kayla,
It might very well have been a burp. Is she continuing to do this or is just one time you have heard it.
There are somethings you can look at. They are the temperature and the humidity level. Make sure they are correct. If this sounds tuns into a wheezing noise then it could be a resperatory infection. If not probably just a burp.
