tea baths

Question
Have you ever heard of bathing snakes in a tea bath? Someone told me this is good for them but I have never heard of this before.

Answer
While tea baths might be good for nearly any animal... maybe... maybe not.  My question would be: why would a snake need one?  I can guarantee you that no wild snake has every had a tea bath and as such I doubt it's necessary.  I do however, need a foot massage, can you help me out?
