Baby needs a home

Question
i was wondering if you could help me out a little. i have a coastal carpet python  about 6 -7 feet in length. i don't know her age exactly.that i need to rehouse problem is theres no place around me that i know of that would take her. she was a rescue we got about 3 years ago( she was left alone with no food or water in a dark apartment for 6 months) when we first got her she would literally strike out at her tank everytime we walked by after many months of working with her we got her to where she will tolerate being handle for a little bit.
i really love baby but unfortunately due to finances we can no longer give her the proper care and attention she needs.
she needs someone who is knowledgeable with snakes namely pythons and even though she hasn't bit anyone since we got her she is more than capable of doing it . i don;t know if you can help but if you could point me in the right direction i would be most grateful
thank you

Answer
Hey Becke,

Sorry to hear about your finance problems. Its always hard to have to give a pet up due to these circumstances. There are several sights where you could sell her or for that matter give her away with a cost of shipping or pick up. One of those sites is a reptile auction site. Easily found with google. It should be the first listing that shows up. Another great thing to do is contact people who sell snakes online and ask them if they are interested in her. I am only into breeding Ball Pythons myself. Easier to house and maintain, but I bet if you type into google carpet pythons for sale, it will show several sites dedicated to that species of snake. Just contact a few of them.

Hope this helps,
