UVA Bulb - Royal Python

Hello!

For the first time ever i have put a 100w UVA bulb in with my Royal Python.

Normally i would just use a spot bulb for the day with the ceramic heater then turn the bulb off at night.

I knwo there is a difference in UVA and UVB but is it ok to use UVA? Will there be any problems? Blindness etc?

It wont cause any harm to your snake provided you have a hide box where your snake can escape the light.

Saying that though, UV bulbs are not necessary for royal pythons and the spot bulb and ceramic heater would work just as well.
