Question
Now I've now had my normal ball python for over a year, and when i came to pick it up today, i saw 2 spurs at the vent.  Does this mean its a female or male, and should i start breeding now.

Answer
Hello Darryl,

It will not tell you the sex. Some say that the bigger the spur the more likely it is a male, not true. The only sure way is to probe or pop your snake. Both methods should be done by someone that has done it before or your taught how to do it.
