eating

I have a calif. kingsnake. im wondering how long do you have to wait to play with your snake agian after eating so they wont get sick?

Hi Kolie,
   As a rule of thumb, I would wait at least 24 to 48 hours to handle your Cal King. You should notice that the "lump" is gone. Once this happens, the digestion of the food is almost complete and the snake should be good to go.
