Question
You previously responded to my email about my snake not eating - Thank you - and although I have a vet visit next week, I just want to see if you have any more feedback about this most recent problem. It has now been about 4 wks since she has eaten, and last week I found 2 small piles of some light brown liquid and white crystal-like material. Otherwise, she has not passed any feces.

Answer
It's not unusual that she hasn't passed any feces since she hasn't been eating. However, the light brown liquid may be an indication of an internal parasite. When you visit the vet, make sure that they do a fecal test and examine it for parasites. The are 2-3 main types of parasites that snakes often get, and are usually easily treatable by the vet. There are also a couple of less treatable parasites, but the odds are higher that it's something easy to treat.
