QUESTION: Hi. My rainbow boa has a mouthful of dirt as we speak. I have had her for about 6 months and have had no problems like this. I fed her about 3 days ago. It is "jungle bed" from petsmart. Please help. Thank you so much

ANSWER: Rinse it out.  just pick her up, take her to the sink and rinse it out.  Water doesn't hurt.

QUESTION: So this was an accident on my snakes part and not a sign of anything amiss? She did it again. I rinsed most of it out. What should I do if this continues?

How is she doing it?  If she has a respiratory infection the excess fluid in and around her mouth could be the cause.  I'd also worry about your substrate, I use ONLY the following things in my cages.  Shredded aspen, newspaper, or indoor/outdoor carpet.  "Jungle Bed" is made of what?
