Corn Snake Shedding and Eating

Question
I bought a 8 month old 13 inch corn snake about two weeks ago and I fed him the day after buying.  He ate the pinky fine and I left him for the night.  The next day I got a few more Items for his cage like a new water dish and piece of driftwood.  I had to move him a couple of times to rearrange and the next day he regurgitated.  I tried to feed four days later and he wouldn't eat but his eyes started to change so i figured it was because of the shed.  Now he is shedding and it is not going well.  The only part that has fallen off is the bit by his head and a bit of the neck.  I have given him a bath and misted his cage and helped him shed a bit off the back half of him.  I've had a heat light on him and kept the cage as close to 75 on one side and 85 on the other but my A/C is busted right now and it is hard to keep his cage cool due to Florida weather.  Should I be worried about the snake i bought making it?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Answer
Luke,
In my experience, yes. When a snake throws up, it is a bad sign, especially a snake that young. I suggest your either take him to the vet or back to the store and let them know what is going on. Sadly, there is not a lot of good medicine for snakes. The young have 10X more problems than the old. It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong, the temps seem okay all things considered.
