cornsnake wont eat

Question
I have had a mature cornsnake for almost 2 years. Recently he has stopped eating. He has gone about 2 months now. I had changed his bedding to cedar chips and just read tonight that can be toxic. Is that true? How do I reverse the effects from that bedding if so. I have already changed his bedding to newspaper type for reptiles. I know there are probably many variables but maybe we can start here. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Answer
I don't know if there is a way to reverse the effects of cedar. Have you checked all of the other husbandry issues....proper heat source, etc? Have you tried varying his feed to smaller mice, fresh killed, etc? It's normal for corns to go off feed during the winter months, so that's also a possibility. Lastly, you might try getting a fecal done by a vet to check for internal parasites.
