Snake behavior

Question
I currently have a Corn Snake and A King Snake. My Corn seems to frighten VERY easily sometimes, but other days she will side up and down her cage almost begging to be held. Are these "mood swings" I will say, normal? It is not the temperature or feeding schedule or any external factor that causes her to act so differently, because my King is always fine and friendly. Neither has ever bit me, but the corn just seems to be frightened of people one day, and social the next.

Answer
In short, yes, they are normal. Each snake is as individual as a person. I have some like your king, who are more docile than the best trained dog. Others are always aggressive. The scary ones are the ones you cannot predict. Shed cycles, time of year, temperature; there are too many variables to consider. I am guessing that your corn is perfectly normal and as long as she is eating consistently, enjoy her diversity.
