milk snakes

Question
i have had my milk snake for two weeks.he hasnt shed yet how do i get him to shed?also he wont eat pinkies but he ate an anole lizard is something wrong

There is no set schedule for shedding, they shed as they outgrow their old skin.  Since yours isn't eating very well it may be a while before he is ready to shed.  Try rubbing the pinkie with an anole next time and see if that gets him interested.  If it works try rubbing less and less each time until it will take them unscented.
