Question
I have this snake since she was like 1 year of being born. When my girlfriend bought it she used to take it everywhere and she never try to bite anyone. But she stop handling her and now iam taking care of the snake and everytime I try to touch her she try to bite me. How can I train her again to be more passive so I can start handling her without being bited. Thanks for your help

Answer
Hello Ettiene,

Boas tend to get aggressive as they age. This is not to say that the behavior is due to age but just stating a fact. A great majority of the time a snake will act this way because it is not being fed enough. Try a larger prey item or if your feeding schedule is more than a week try switching to every seven days. This should help.
