how large a tank would i need for a 4-5 foot land dwelling snake?

It depends on the species of snake, although glass tanks are not ideal to keep snakes in. I prefer bins but not everyone can have a rack system, so then I opt for wooden or PVC enclosures. They hold heat and humidity way more than glass does.

But generally a 4-5 foot snake would need a 6 foot by 2 foot by 3 foot enclosure. But again, it does depend on the species you get
