Kenyan sand boa not eating.

Question
Good day Kevin,

My friend has bought a Kenyan sand boa at a reptile expo, it was a baby, I wil guess max about a month old. He has had it for about 3 months now and it has never eaten. the pet store told him that it is still feeding off the egg yolk, can it be for so long?

He has tried leaving the pinkie for a couple of hours with it. He has also tried cutting the pinkie head open a bit to see if that helps. He has also tried dangling the pinkie infront of it but nothing. He has also tried live pinkies.

Here are some details of his setup:
it is around 80-85 F, the light is turned on around 06:30 and off around 19:00, and it is about a 15 litre fish tank.

What can we do to get it to eat?

Thank you for your time.
Rhyan Jeanson.

Answer
Is the boa being kept on sand?  It should be, they really like to burrow.  If it is, I'd recommend leaving a live pinkie maybe even a fuzzy in the tank overnight.  Everything else you're tried sounds right.  It should be getting hungry by now.  ALWAYS ask if babies have fed yet, on what, and for a feeding gaurantee if you can get it.
