Ball Python Injury

In My ball pythons cage I made "hinges" out of zip ties which seemed to be to small for him to fit in, but this morning I found him hanging half way through it. I cut him down and he seems all right, but he has a large bruise where the tie dug into him. Is there any thing I should do?

I cannot make much of a suggestion without seeing the severity of the injury. I am assuming he is alive and well. Short of changing the zip ties, I cannot think of much unless he has topical injuries. IF so, they should be treated by antibiotic ointment.
