Question
hi i own an olive python which unfortunetly only eats live prey, and while i was feeding it yesterday it got a few very minor bites. I was just wondering if it is normal to see a small amount of clear fluid come out from the wounds? Any help would be much appreciated

Answer
I have never seen any clear fluid come out after a bite. Rub some triple antibiotic ointment on the bites. In the near future, whack the mouse over the corner of a table or counter before feeding it to the snake. Long term, convert her over to frozen / thawed.
