Question
Dear Sir,

I am a truck driver and spend one to two weeks on the road. Would it be a bad idea to keep a Ball Python in my truck while on the road? Since I have a large sleeper cab, I have room for a tank in the truck, but I'm concerned about the movement. The truck is always running and stays warm. I also have electric for heat lamps and heating pads. If this is not feasible, I won't get a snake. I want to have a good environment for the animal to keep it healthy.

Thank You,

David

Answer
Hey David,

I would not recommend you getting a snake for your truck.
The reason being is that they are very sensitive to vibrations. It could cause major stress and lead to not eating.

I could tell you that having one for your home is good. Their feeding schedule could be every two weeks or every time you get back home from the being on the road.

Hope this helps,
