rabbit pregnancy with wild rabbit

is it possible for my outdoor female rabbit to have gotten pregnant with a wild male rabbit if she has never left the cage?  The cage is two levels and the bottom is about 4 inches off the ground.  She all of a sudden has a round and hard belly. Cindy Rust

It is physically impossible for wild and domestic rabbits to interbreed.  They have different numbers of chromosones which makes reproduction impossible.  This is not to say that a male domestic rabbit couldn't have gotten together with her.

It's also possible she has gas or some other issue that would suggest a trip to see a rabbit-knowledgeable veterinarian.
