Holland Dwarf Lop-eared Ears lopped then went went up!

Happy New Year Dr. Dana! This is our question: Our bunny is almost 2 months old, her ears have been loped since we first saw her and yesterday one ear went up and today the other! They won't go back down! Why is this happening and will they lop again?

Wow, that's pretty weird!  Usually it's the other way around.

However, many Holland Lops, since they have such small ears, have ears that don't lop completely, or even stand up straight sometimes.  I'm suspecting that because she's so young, they will start to lop down again soon.  

However, since lopping is not controlled by only one gene, it's possible that her ears will stay more "up" than down.  It's actually a better thing for her health, since lopped ears are far more prone to ear infections and other disorders than up ears.

Either way, I'll bet she's adorable.
