Question
Hi Dana,
Sorry RE: CLOVER
I forgot to mention, he has had bright orange urine, ever since I have had him. The Vet said it could be from the first course of antibiotics he was on, from the neutering procedure.
He is drinking lots of water, and eating good, but the urine remains bright, somtimes dark orange. That is something I again wanted to check with you on.
Thanks again,
Gina

Answer
Dear Gina,

Some rabbits' urine turns bright orange, red or brown upon exposure to the air, and it's not a matter of concern unless it's accompanied by other signs, such as straining to urinate.  Some antibiotics can, indeed, cause urine color to change, but this should eventually subside.

Hope that helps!
Dana
