Question
Koby, My Bunny
Koby, My Bunny
I just got a bunny yesterday, and was told its about a month old. Its rabbit pellets i guess when it wants to and it eats an okay amount, and i have seen it drink, and it drinks water pretty good. The main thing I am wanting to know is, is it to young to be away from its mother?

Answer
Koby looks perfect! And so cute... My opinion is that he's at least 5 weeks old, maybe six. Four weeks and he'd be smaller. so this is good! And you sent the image before I had seen this second question, so good for you! Smart girl.
I really think that if you just monitor how much he's eating and drinking, even keep a journal. Then in a week or two you'll see that he'll adjust just fine.
He is small, but about the same size as when I have let my baby buns go to their new homes.
Good luck with Koby! Enjoy your new baby.
