Our Bunnys Not Acting Normal

Question
My sister owns a pet bunny dear to my own heart and her potty training habits have gotten worse. She used to be practically fully trained, then she started peeing everywhere. Her droppings are also slightly different in size. She also bit my mom, which is not like her because she's never bitten anyone before. Do you know whether this could be a bladder or urinary infection, and if so, what should we do?

Answer
Hi,

it sounds like your rabbit has hit sexual maturity.  This is hormomally-driven behavior.  It will not go away.  You need to go to a good rabbit vet and discuss getting her spayed.

Find a good rabbit vet (not all are) here:

www.rabbit.org/vets/vets.html

and find a House Rabbit Society-recommended vet near you.
