Rabbits and Fleas

Question
I have two cats (one indoor, one indoor/outdoor)and an indoor rabbit.  Recently I've noticed fleas on all of them!  I was going to treat the cats with Frontline, however, I know I CANNOT use this on the rabbit.  What can I use on the rabbit?  Will treating the cats with Frontline (in the house) have a negative impact on the rabbit?  Is there something I can use for ALL the animals?

Thank you so much.

Answer
Dear Mary,

I'm glad you know about Frontline being dangerous to rabbits.  Putting it on the cats won't be a problem unless the rabbit grooms the cats.  If that's the case, then I would avoid Frontline and instead use either Advantage or Revolution. Both are safe for rabbits.

We prefer Revolution (selamectin), as it's also effective against mites, ticks, and roundworms.  More info here:

Hope that helps!
