Peeing on sofa

Dear Emily,

My 13 week old male bunny has recently started peeing on the sofa. He was typically very good about controlling his bowel and bladder when out of the cage, but seems to consistently pee here now, even if he's only been out for a few minutes. Is this something to do with marking territory and adolescence? What can i do to control it, and will neutering help?

Yes, it sounds like that's the case.

Neutering will *definitely* help. And in the meantime, the best approach may just be to keep him off of the sofa, if at all possible. Allow him to return once his hormones have died down a little.
