I am getting a pair of female guinea-pigs in a few days and was wondering If I have everything I need, here is what I have:

Cage
water bottle
food dish
bedding
food
treats
toys
Do I need anything other then this?

Answer
The do not need treats, however they do need unlimited amounts of hay, and daily vegetables ( at least one cup per pig). If you bought the cage from a pet store, please return it as it is way too small www.cavycages.com <~~ build one of these, they are the best cages you can have and they are big and cheap! Make sure their bedding is not Pine or Cedar as these beddings are very bad for animals and can make them very sick and even kill them.
