Question
hi,i have a pair of guinea pigs whom i bought a week ago.they were very active in the beginning but from two days one of them is frozen to a corner.the other is active.in the beginning the frozen pig was more active but now she is very lazy.she eates.theres no problem with eating.also they used to fight alot.but now have stopped.iam very concerned.can you tell me the reason?

Answer
sorry for the late reply i have had pc trouble. the most likly cause is that she is the subordinate guinea pig and is afraid of stepping on the toes of the dominent one. my advice is that (unless you have already)expand the cage/hutch, increase the cage space or add a run to the hutch. guinea pigs should have approximatley seven feet squared of space minimum for two i would recommend more.if you section off the cage/hutch so there are hide away and blind spots then your frozen pig be a little more animated.
