a female and a neutered male?

Question
Hi.
We recently 'saved' a couple of supposedly female guinea pigs (mother and daughter) from a little girl who got bored of them.

About a week after we got them, the mother gave birth to just one female. About two weeks after that we noticed that the daughter was infact a son (we did have a check before but we didn't find his bits as we didn't really know how to find them at the time) so ofcourse after that we separated them.

So basically I was wondering if it would be okay to get him neutered and put him back with his mum and his sister as I read somewhere that there behaviour doesn't change when they're neutered? I also have a friend who has a couple of males, and she'd be willing to have him, is it completely impossible to have him introduced to other males without conflict even if he's about 4 months old and has had contact with a female?

Thanks for your help!

Answer
If you have a cavy savy vet, you can have him neutered. You must have at least a 2x5 C&C cage for 3 cavies.

If you are willing to get him to your friend, and she has the room for 3 boars ( at least a 2x5- 2x6 C&C cage) then I would say go for it. It is possible for him to live with them as long as she takes the proper steps to introducing them. I had  herd of 6 males living in harmony, most that were used for breeding and all of them were well over a year old, they live in a 4x5 C&C cage.
