Question
I have a 2yr old satin guinea pig (Molly) who over the past week has started to drink quite a lot (half to two-thirds of a rabbit bottle a day).  she lives indoors with another 2yr old (a Rex called Honey) who never seems to drink. Molly was the same, but now we are starting to wonder if there could be a problem.

She is eating and her behaviour doesn't seem to have changed.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Usually when a guinea pig starts drinking that much, it is a sign of a bladder or kidney infection.  I would take her to the vet and have her checked out as soon as possible.

Hope this is helpful.  If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact me again.  Good luck!
